Peru´s defense minister warned Thursday a new cocaine-producing hot spot is gaining traction in Peru near its border with Columbia and Brazil and local authorities expressed concern the Marxist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) will join forces with drug traffickers there, Reuters reported.
